" Includes 2 typewritten, mimeographed transcripts of newspaper articles about the subject, both signed by Shirley Wheeler. Good. Boards are darkened, with spine cellophane tape repaired and approximately half the lower paper chipped off there (not present) ; corners bumped. Internally, plates starting to age yellow along margins, o/w tight, clean, still crisp. From an old Polish Austrian noble family, Aunt Helen, as she wasa affectionally known to her pupils, spent most of her life working and teaching in her studio in Rome, and was noted for her bronze busts and other works.
