The book also contains a rare and witty, magnificent full page ink signed inscription from Derek McCulloch to a previous owner on the half title page. Pictorial boards, black quarter cloth binding, 90 pages including superb colour and b/w illustrations from Ernest Noble throughout, thre book is in fair to good condition with a split in the cloth to the front of the spine, general rubbing to the edges of the boards, some staining to the rear board, general browning to the end papers and some literature pertaining to the author (newspaper clippings etc) affixed to the front paste down. A real rarity, as McCulloch was a scarce signer of his material and books. Inscribed by Author(s).
