Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. This is a fabulous, lavishly illustrated history of space flight, as only the Smithsonian Institution could produce. Full printing line with "1" on copyright page of this first edition 1st printing of the trade paper version. The book is gift quality, in near fine condition, and appears unread. Binding is tight and square, with no reading crease in the spine. Covers are sharp cornered, unfaded and unworn, with some very light rubbing, and a light smudge on front where store sticker was removed, otherwise unmarked. Pages are unmarked and unworn. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description. Note: shipment outside the USA will require additional postage for this heavy (2 pound) book.
