Note in the hand of Anthony Powell under the authors name Mark Members on title page reading: '(in this case Roy Fuller).' Also a presentation to his friend the British philosopher Anthony Quinton (with his bookplate) and his wife.'Tony and Marcella from Tony. January 1986.' An amusing poetic squib by Roy Fuller produced to celebrate AP's 80th birthday. Mark Members was a character in Powell's 'Dance to the Music of Time' according to the intro '.this is the piece 'favourably noticed' by Sir Edmund Gosse.' One of 80 copies for the use of Anthony Powell.' Very good indeed with some very slight creasing. Signedes.
