Condition: Very Good. Gialli Probiti 72, first printing of this edition, 12mo hardcover in original dust jacket, Italian translation of "Take a Murder, Darling" (Fawcett Gold Medal 745, 1958). Digest-size hardcover, photographic cover featuring brunette in red on shiny bedspread. Other Gialli editions credited models on the jacket flap, not so here. Giusto Vaglieri's "Gialli" imprint was one of Italy's finest, offering translations of (mostly) American crime fiction w/ winking cat face mascot, tiny man in clutched fist illustration on the rear panels, lush, full-color pinup jacket photos of Raquel Welch, Lili St. Cyr, June Wilkinson, others. Very Good in a Very Good jacket, slight lean, light toning, a few pp w/ corner creases (binding flaw); jacket w/ several tiny tears, brief laminate bubbling, a a few soil dots. Somewhat uncommon international pulp.
