Former library copy with usual treatments, boards rubbed and lightly soiled, edges worn, upper 2 inches of spine reglued poorly, corners worn to board, 2 leaves detached, webbing visible at inner hinges, 5 quarter-inch ink spots on 2 facing pages, pages age toned and some leaves chipped along fore edges. Brick and mortar bookshop since 1975!.

Hinge cracked, gift inscription on fly page, some pages have soil spots and fingerprints. Gift Inscription states "To Emma and Family From Your Sister Anna". Pages vii through page one have stain at top corner. Edge wear, chipped, rubbed and nicked. Corners bumped and chipped, paper cover completely chipped off corners.
