The author states in the Preface that the story was not written to make you guffaw but rather to provoke a quiet smile. He does not state whether there is truth the tales or not. The condition is very good. The pages are free of tears and folds but there are couple of pages with ink doodle on them. The cloth cover is greenish with a picture of a man on front in black and orange. There is scuffing on the corners and top and bottom of the spine. The binding is tight but the paper has torn apart between the inside cover and ffl.
