Darüber hinaus werden auch wichtige experimentelle Befunde zur jeweiligen Theorie beschrieben. Ein Blick ins Inhaltsverzeichnis zeigt auch den klar strukturierten Aufbau des Buches Von der Sozialpsychologie des Individuums wird der Faden weitergesponnen zur Psychologie des Individuums im sozialen Kontext. Ich bin mir jedoch nicht sicher, ob das Buch für 'Anfänger' geeignet ist. Die strenge Darstellung des Stoffes verlangt vom Leser konzentriertes Lesen, mitunter auch wiederholtes Lesen. Das Buch ist keine 'lockere' Beschreibung sozialpsychologischer Denkweisen (wie z.B. das Buch 'Sozialpsycholgie' von Aronson, Wilson & Akert), sondern eher eine konzentrierte, straffe und wissenschaftliche (und deshalb vielleicht für einige Leser auch recht trockene) Darstellung der wesentlichen (sozial)psychologischen Theorien. Das Buch ist sehr zu empfehlen; allerdings nicht als Einführung, sondern als Nachschlagewerk - insbesondere wenn es darum geht, sich einen Überblick über die (vielfältigen) Theorien zu einem ganz bestimmten Thema zu verschaffen. Auch zur Prüfungsvorbereitung sollte es bestens geeignet sein.
