Plastic Comb with Card Covers. Condition: USED_VERYGOOD. Ray Wilding-White (1922-2001), born in England, grew up in the USA and began music study at Juilliard after WWII. His main composition teachers were Aaron Copland and Luigi Dallapiccola. These 8 songs (most for just one soprano) are prime examples of his avant-garde sensibility and are scored for an ensemble of flute/alto flute, clarinet, trumpet, violin, viola, cello, and piano/harpsichord - employed from song to song in various combinations. Note: A tape part appears in one of the songs (but looks as if it could be transcribed for acoustic instruments). CONTENTS: Please see my accompanying scan image of the Table of Contents. 74 pages. CONDITION: An overall Very Good composer-printed copy, for which I have made a Fine, titled card-stock cover. The pages are composer-provided photocopies, printed on one side only. This rare set of songs is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
