    Soft cover. Condition: Fair. This is "Year Book No. 10 of the Oneida Historical Society at Utica, N. Y." , Published in 1905 , commemorating the establishment of the Munson-Williams Memorial, which was to become the Home of the Oneida Historical Society at Utica. There is a handsome half tone photograph of the building, used as the frontispiece of the Year Book. Throughout the book there are numerous photo-portraits of authors of articles within the Year Book, and prominent individuals of Oneida County, of who, there are brief biographical accounts. These were the shakers and movers of Utica and Oneida County, and include Roscoe. Conkling. The articles are as follows : - Mission of the Oneida Historical Society / Publications of the Society / Catalog of the Society's collection of Battle Flags (With halftone photograph of the display case) / The Genius of Anglo - Saxon Law and Institutions Contrasted with the Latin civilization of Imperialism . by Rev. On the front cover is the pictorial device of the Oneida Historical Society ***************************************************** CONDITION - GOOD ONLY - This is a previously owned book that has seen considerable use, with the following particulars noted :: EXTERIOR -- Rough. Spine has splitting and small loss at the extremities; spine surface is creased; front cover displays scattered staining (see picture), Rear cover has bumped and considerably creased fore-edge corners ; rear surface rub is modest; cover edges display small nicks and tears. Text-block edges are toned, else clean. / BINDING --Still fairly tight. / INTERIOR -- Next to four names in the list of the Board of Councilors are penciled the word "Dead", else I saw no other marking or writing in the book. The leaves closest to the rear cover are quite ragged at the corners; many of the book's leaves have bumped corners, with a few displaying accompanying creasing or dog - ears. The text throughout is clean, and the photographs display cleanly.
