DJ show wreath with red ribbon and house inside covered with snow. Second copy dated 1905, 1908, in fair condition with window on front cover showing a farm in snow with presents piled on the window sill. Book and DJ badly water stained and sticking together. Both books from "Mrs. and Mrs. Frank L. Chapman, Dunwandrin Send Greetings" and owner name on front endpapers.

Fine in plain tan card-boards with green and white decorative cloud patterned end-papers; in a very nearly fine, slightly dust-soiled dust jacket nicely attached at the spine panel as issued, with minute rubbing to the upper and lower spine edges, decorative red, green and gold titles and borders to the front panel. A very well preserved vintage book in dust jacket. Small octavo; (7.5" x 4.8"); 76 pages; plus four color art plates.

A rare paperboard copy with no printing and a dust cover that has title and author's name. This dust cover has been covered with a brodart mylar cover for preservation. Browning from aging to many pages, color illustrations very nice and no writing or highlighting to text. This is a scarce if not rare book. Grace S. Richmond (née Grace Louise Smith; Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 1866 1959) was an American writer. She wrote the "Red Pepper Burns" series of popular novels. Her father was a Baptist clergyman, Charles Edward Smith Charles Mark Relyea (April 23, 1863 1932) was an American illustrator whose work appeared in magazines and popular novels in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.Relyea was a native of Albany, New York, and spent most of his early years in Rochester. He studied art under Thomas Eakins at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and under Frank Vincent DuMond at the Art Students League in New York City before completing his training in Paris. ; Color Illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 76 pages.
