Soft cover. Condition: Good. First Edition Thus. 12 uniform books each of around 60 pp + 6 pages of ads, staple bound in paper covers. Covers a little rubbed and marked a few with tears one large and repaired with tape, the books had been wrapped in brown paper and so the covers remain bright and in better than usual condition, a few spots of glue from the covering have cased some superficial damage to the inside of some covers, pages tanned some inscribed in front. Would consider splitting the lot.

Orange cloth with black lettering and black and blue decoration on spine and front board, top edge orange. 12 colour plates (including frontispiece) tipped on heavy gray stock with tissue guards bearing captions - collated. Includes Index of Writers and Index of First Lines. Very small edge tear on half-title and contents pages - achivally taped; small stain at top edge of frontispiece page (does not effect tipped-in plate); minor toning to endpapers; two tissue guards have one ot two light wrinkles, a third has a tiny hole; light edge wear to boards; light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine; light browning to fore-edge and bottom of text block; two tiny dents on bottom edge of front board; narrow scuff across bottom of text block at spine; come darkening to spine colour and on a 1/2" band at bottom of rear board. Book is protected in a stiff mylar sleeve.
