Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Second Volume published 1948. Forward to both volumes by Eleanor Roosevelt. Blue cloth boards with gilt embossing to front board and spine, a little rubbing to edges and corners. The 'Early Years' was a gift to Westbrook, Conn, Public Library by Eleanor Roosevelt as marked by a plate on front pastedown and gift inscription dated January 1948 on half title page signed by both Eleanor and Elliott Roosevelt. These are library discards and have the original flaps of the dust jackets pasted to front endpapers along with library book plates and a couple of stamps on the tilte page. There is also a small paper label on the lower section of the spine. Photos supplied on request. Westbrook was where Eleanor spent much time at house of her friends Esther Lape and Elizabeth Read. Signed by Author(s).
