Book has light rubbing to exterior, surface-level impressions to the back cover, noticeable sun-fading to exterior, especially to the spine, scuffs and abrasions along edges, significant corner wear with bumps, fraying and exposed boards at tips. The spine has fraying to the top/bottom, bottom fourth of spine is torn off though attached by front hinge, remnants of a white sticker at bottom of spine. Former owner's name printed on front endpaper, light fingerprint smudging to pages scattered amongst text.Otherwise book is in good condition. Pages are clean, crisp and bright with solid binding, and a decent spine. A handsome copy.

A hole has been punched halfway through the front cover near the bottom corner (hole area is circa 1/8 th inch by 1/4 inch), and some wrinkles in cover cloth are above the hole). A damp stain shows along the top edge: from the spine, continuous 2 inches away from the spine. Stain is faint and confined to the vertical (blank) hinge margins, the top (blank) margins. Stain is present throughout the contents. Contents approach VG.
