Prima ed unica edizione, illustrata da un gran numero di esempi musicali n.t. L'autore, frate minore, Moderatore del Coro di S.Pietro in Montorio, e Maestro di Cappella, vi tratta in forma di dialogo nella prima parte la teoria del canto fermo in 4 capitoli, nella seconda la pratica in 14 capitoli, e in fine le regole per la composizione, in 20 dialoghi con 15 esercizi; segue un'Appendice pratica, ''la quale può servire di Direttorio Corale agli Ecclesiastici''.
