In Hebrew and English, a photo history of Jerusalem two years after being handed over to the Jewish people. Yellow orange linen cloth with brown cover lettering, 156 pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book is in very good condition, with mild overall surface rubbing, sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is in fair condition with conspicuous edgewear including large chips at the spine ends and a one-and-a-half by six-inch segment missing atop right corner of rear cover, some additional edgewear. . Rectangular 8vo, 21.6 cm x 23.9 cm x 2 cm, Brown leatherette (vinyl) cloth-covered boards, Embossed decorative brass plate inlaid on front cover, Gilt embossed lettering on spine, Decorated end papers. 156 pages. Weight: 686 Grams. CONTENTS ARE LIKE NEW!!! However, there is a small area of heat damage to front cover where leatherette is slightly melted. There is also a small bump & cut in leatherette on vertical edge of front cover. Spine & cover are a little grubby, gilt & brass plate are tarnished, spine leans & is bumped & scuffed either end, binding tight. Small marks to cover more so on back, edge wear. Corners bumped & scuffed. Some pages (very few) have faint corner crease/fold. Slight rippling alongside spine & on outer edges of some pages & of end papers. Light age tanning throughout, more pronounced on end papers and inner edges of pages. RARE ITEM, BEAUTIFUL INSIDE!!!
