Hardcover. Condition: g+. First edition. Large Quarto. Unpaginated. Original gray cloth with blind stamped lettering and illustrated diamond label on cover. Illustrated half title. Publication on the part of the VOK Collection containing textiles from Persia, including the Southern Caucasus or Azerbaijan which was part of Persia until the middle of the 19th Century. Profusely illustrated with captivating color photographs of 107 gilims and other flatweaves throughout, at times with additional color reproductions of details of larger pieces. Illustrated diamond label of front cover detached and laid in. Binding rubbed and lightly sunned near spine and foredge. Book block is lightly along edges not affecting images. Binding and interior in overall good+ condition.
