Somit kann man den Kalender, zu mindest in seiner Anfangsform, zu den ältesten Errungenschaften des menschlichen Verstandes zählen, d. h. zu solchen Kategorien wie Schrift und Zählen. Das hohe Alter des Kalenders kann man schon daraus ersehen, daß schon ungefähr 3000 jahre vor unserer Zeitrechnung die alten Ägypter ein relativ vollkommenes Kalendersystem hatten. 116 pp. Deutsch.
