Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. New York: Frederick A. Stokes Company, 1936. First edition, 1926. First person account of an early Chinese feminist and revolutionary who later (after this book was written) became the first female lawyer and judge in Chinese history. She speaks of her childhood and rejection of the traditional role of a Chinese woman, and frankly about the influence of Bolshevism and in actively working with the anarchist and revolutionary organizer Li Shizeng in a plan to assassinate Yuan Shih-k'ai. Interesting read. Black cloth lettered in gilt, decorative yellow and white endpapers, 249 pages. Spine a bit faded but legible, modest edge rubbing and a few spots to the covers, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with a gift notation inside the front cover, no other markings. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
