Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. This is another of Johanna Spyri's children's books that takes place in the mountains of Switzerland. It contains 248 pages with a colorful drawing on the frontispiece. The pages are free of marks and folds but has one repaired tear and some soiling. The color print ffl has a message from a previous giver and a cute bookplate of that person. The tops of pages are sprayed red. The binding is tight. The blue cloth cover has the title and author stamped in silver and shows slight fading at the top and bottom of the spine but is otherwise clean. The corners are sharp. The silver and orange DJ has a picture of two children sitting in a field of flowers with mountains in the background. It has tears along the top and bottom and a piece torn out over the bottom of the spine but it is covered in a clear plastic sleeve.
