There is a small moisture stain in the top left corner of the front board. The base of the spine is a bit bumped. Endpapers illustrated in green and blue. Seven illustrated color plates. In a price-clipped dust jacket, with small tears to the edges, five of which have been backed with tape. The spine of the jacket has faded. Introduction by Laurence Alma Tadema. This edition is illustrated by British painter Kate Elizabeth Olver (1881-1960). Olver studied art at the Royal Academy Schools. In the realm of illustration, she is most known for her illustrations for "A Child's Garden of Verses.".
