No Binding. Condition: Collectible-Very Good. #4 First Shooting Script - Unproduced. Another version appeared on The United States Steel Hour, Season 7, Episode 21 (Air Date 20 July 1960) with a different co-author of the script, Joe Palmer Jr. 122 typed pages; green wrapper with brads (8 x 13 inch) with typed label on the cover. The original play won the 'Silver Dagger Award' by the Mystery Writers of America in 1962. The play's author Bruce Stewart (1925-2005) was an New Zealand actor and author who wrote over 200 plays and scripts for radio, television and the stage. The plot of the script was about Jack Rigger, a blacksmith in the Australian frontier town of Cobar Springs, wants to lynch the man he thinks killed his son. The man, an ex-con who recently showed up in town, is brought to trial. In an odd twist, it's Rigger who must serve as the man's defense counsel. Very good clean copy.
