THIS IS THE FIRST ISSUE OF THIS TITLE BY THE AUTHOR AND AS STATED IN THE FORWARD THIS WAS PRINTED IN A LIMITED EDITION.probably a very small edition since it was through The Paxton Herald. "Then Mrs. Annette A. Antoun, editor and publisher of THE PAXTON HERALD exclaimed "It's a disgrace to ignore the fact that the First Regiment of the Continental Army came from Central Pennsylvania - we should be proud of such a heritage," and forthwith offered the facilities of the PAXTON HERALD to publish a limited edition of this book." In addition to this being the First Printing and Limited Edition of this book it has also been SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AND INSCRIBED "To Don Wagner who is also interested in this period Oscar H. Stroh 20 Sept '75'" which appears underneath the author's printed name on the middle of the title page. Note: Don Wagner was a long time member of The Company of Military Collectors and Historians (From 1955-1998). Don Wagner's address label appears at the top of the first page and the authors private address label appears at the bottom of the last page. (Both lived in Harrisburg, Pa. and both were members of The Company of Military Collectors and Historians). VERY RARE TO FIND THIS FIRST LIMITED EDITION PRINTING WITH SUCH GREAT PROVINANCE!!.
