Title handwritten in ink to spine, somewhat faded. Crown and foot slightly rubbed, joints similar. Front board slightly bowed, some soiling to both boards, corners lightly bumped. Library sticker to front paste-down, further nameplate sticker to same; offsetting to front fly as a result. Map bound in at half-title. Illustrated with B/W engravings and maps in text, single coloured map.
