Imaginative & unusual Illustrated Short stories, Rhymes etc. Frontispiece has a lovely Full Colour Plate showing a girl petting a horse while her dog looks on. Other part Colour and B&W Illustrations throughout, including a chicken's football match, a Baboon in a boat "The Moon at Rangoon", Farmyard, Peeps in Looking Glass Land, and more. The short story is "SAMPLES" about a boy who advertises for a cat and dog who won't fight! Edited by Eric Vredenburg. Red cloth spine with Paper Covered Boards. Illustrated with a Cat & Dog on the front, by R J Wealthy. Rear board illustrated with 6 books in Father Tuck's Golden Gift Series. Undated Edition, early 20th C. 9 1/4" Tall.
