Stated First Edition, first printing with full number line. Illustrated boards. Very light bump to top fore-corner of rear board. Interior is clean and pages crisp. Bottom corner of front flap is clipped, but price ($12.95) present in upper corner. DJ in archival sleeve. 32 unnumbered pages. 10.5 x 8.75 inches. Jimmy brings his boa to his birthday party at SeaLand and everyone ends up in the big tank. Lots of splashing! Trinka Hakes Noble (b. 1944) is an author and illustrator of children's books. In 2002, she was awarded Outstanding Woman in Arts and Letters from the state of New Jersey for her life-time work in children's books. Steven Kellogg (b.1941) is an author and illustrator of children's books. In 1989 he won the Regina Medal for his "continued, distinguished contribution to children's literature." He has also been the recipient of the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award and the Irma Black Award for Excellence in Children's Literature. Signed by Illustrator(s).
