Memoirs of two years (1925-27) spent in China as a translator-interpreter and secretary for Soviet political and military missions. Mme Vishnyakova-Akimova served in northwest China with Feng Yu-hsiang's Kuominchun, in Canton with Borodin and Blyukher and finally in Wuhan during the climax of the revolutionary events of the mid-twenties.
