Softcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Green stiff paper with metal spiral binding, navy graphic cover art by T. Lyman. White Mountain is a boarding school in New Hampshire, this is a collection of recipies from alumni, parents, trustees, faculty, staff and students. Entries include donators name, title and/or year, the earliest found was '17 page 107. Designed in a horizontal layout for easier use. It was typed by alumni Jean Taylor, Lu Mowers and Martha Rizman Douglas, '63. Lukie Chapman Reilly, '53 designed the twelve title pages, and Anne Howell Armstrong, '58 created the sketches. Some moisture stains on the front cover, else an exceptionaly nice copy with some great recipies. Random examples: Kartoffel Klosse, Butterscotch Brownies, Ozark Pudding, Logan Bread, Spaghetti with Sage, Easiest-of-all Fried Chicken, Hoover's Hen, Artichokes with Mosseline Sauce, Penny Carrots (some penciled in notations) Southern Gingerbread. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
