First edition; 6 1/4 x 5; pp. [10]; embossed, blue, crepe paper wraps, tied with a string; pale-yellow crepe paper leaves, printed and ruled in brown; a bit of creasing and faint fading to fore-edge of wraps; minor age-toning to pages and a few very minor spots; in very good condition.A delightful collection of candy recipes, it was written by Ella "Nellie" Upton Leighton, wife of newspaperman and owner of the Tri-Weekly Star in Dixon, Illinois Dewitt Clinton Owen. It included Coffee Candy, Orange Straws, Butter Scotch, etc.
