Blue cloth boards with bright gilt decoration and front board titles with slight fading/wear to spine decoration and titles. It appears the blue on front and rear covers may have been recoloured'. Prev owner name etc on front free endpaper. Internally very clean. The book 'comprises travel letters written to children, and natural history studies; and includes some verse.
