Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. This was the first in what became a string of novels about the fictional goings on in the real small town of Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Adriana Trigiani also wrote the screenplay, and directed, a film adaptation of the novel. Funnily enough Whoopi Goldberg, who stars in the movie with Ashley Judd and Patrick Wilson, is one of the people whose endorsement appears on the back of the jacket. There's an attractive bookplate on front pastedown, but a near fine copy in a fine dust jacket.
