First Edition
Hardback. Condition: USED_VERYGOOD. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Second Impression. 1975. Second impression of the Collected Edition - Volume 2. x, 217pp. First published in 1934, Graham Greene described this book as his "first overtly political novel". Its theme, said Greene, is "the injustice of man's justice." There is a new introduction by Graham Greene. The book is bound in the original green cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition and the contents are tight and clean. There is no inscription although the top corner of the front free endpaper has been clipped. The clipped dustwrapper (design by Michael Harvey) is very good with light shelf wear and the spine is slightly sunned.
