Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. Publisher - Samual Weiser, New York, 1969. 2nd ed. Very good condition, blue boards covered in adhesive plastic sleeve, corners and spine tips crushed, tanning to page edges. Interesting copy in that the blank page opposite the contents bears the inscription: 'Kathy - please comment' and the name Eleanor Bone in a different hand. Previous owner was Kathy Phelps. Many annotations throughout, in pencil, some of which write in the errata listed on p.9, many more give comments. One or two passages highlighted in faint yellow. Eleanor "Ray" Bone who also went under the craft name Artemis, was an influential figure in the neopagan religion of Wicca. She claimed to have been initiated in 1941 by a couple of hereditary witches in Cumbria.
