Dabei kristallisiert sich für diese Arbeit ein Subkultur-Begriff heraus, der den Fokus auf ästhetische Produktion von 'Kultur'-Produkten und -Prozessen sowie auf eine Abgrenzung vom kulturellen 'Mainstream' legt.Anhand des Konzepts des 'subkulturellen Kapitals' und des Konzepts vom 'Lernen in Szenen wird schließlich gezeigt wie sich Akteure der Subkultur innerhalb ihrer Subkultur Kompetenzen aneignen, die sie innerhalb wie außerhalb der Subkultur zur ökonomischen Existenzgründung einsetzen können.Darauf aufbauend wird schließlich der Begriff des Subkultur-Unternehmers eingeführt. Subkultur-Unternehmer sind neue Kulturunternehmer deren Prozess der Wertschöpfung weitestgehend auf dem Einsatz von 'subkulturellem Kapital' beruht.Im empirischen Teil dieser Arbeit werden Anhand von qualitativen Leitfadeninterviews mit 'Subkultur-Unternehmern' drei Fälle miteinander verglichen, die Lebenswirklichkeit, Einstellungen, Entwicklung, Handeln und Selbsteinschätzung von 'Subkultur-Unternehmern' verdeutlichen und in explorativer Weise die Beschreibung dieses neuen Sozialraum-Typus mit Leben füllen. Dazu wurden Interviews mit einer Zwischennutzungs-Expertin, einem Grafik-Designer und Skateboarder sowie einem Musiker, Autor, Festival-Veranstalter und Musikjournalisten geführt und ausgewertet. 104 pp. Deutsch.
