La prima mostra dedicata alla scultura di Picasso a Roma à pensata come un viaggio attraverso i secoli, lungo il filo delle variazioni plastiche sulle forme e sui temi - storie e miti, corpi e figure, oggetti e frammenti. Verranno presentati capolavori del grande maestro andaluso, inedite fotografie di atelier e video che raccontano il contesto in cui le sculture sono nate. L'allestimento della mostra pone l'opera di Picasso al centro di un dialogo, ricco di consonanze visive e concettuali. Il catalogo raccoglie nuove riflessioni nate in questo contesto, illustrando ed esaminando le numerose opere esposte, alcune delle quali mai viste prima.
