Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Adlard Coles Edition. Paperback. Following hard on the heels of the successful Up the Creek With Old Harry, this book is another delightfully entertaining collection of Des Sleightholme's amusing observations of the nautical scene. The 'joys' of antifouling, the bloody-mindedness of marine engines, the dubious pleasures of sailing on a spring tide, skippers, launching and noveice crew are just some of the subjects aired by 'Old Harry'. perceptive, amusing and presented in Sleightholm's inimmitable style, each episode is enlived with a cartoon illustration. An ideal bunkside read. Illustrations. 118 pp. (We carry a wide selection of titles in The Arts, Theology, History, Politics, Social and Physical Sciences. academic and scholarly books and Modern First Editions ,and all types of Academic Literature.).
