Illustrated dustwrapper with gold and white coloured titles to the front panel and gold and blue coloured titles to the back strip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. An outsider in a outback mining town is cutting a large suede through the women of the town, up to and including his best mate's wife. He then turns his attention to the step daughter of his friend and the simmering tensions and animosity of the men of the town erupt violently against this man. The situation is more explosive still with the lockout of the mine. Minor rubbing of the book corners and softening of the back strip edges. Age toning of the text block edges.
