'88 Specially signed for Barbara Rex." Additionally, the book is Inscribed on the title page: "Dear Barbara, I want everyone to know that if it had not been for your support and encouragement, this book would never have come to be. Love, Lee." The printed dedication is to the author's mother and "to Barbara Rex, without whose encouragement this volume would never have been published." Irvis, a sculptor and poet, also served as the Speaker of the House of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
