Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First of this edition (?). Small format (16mo). Decorative cloth binding with Scribner's name added to design on front board (spine still reads W. A. K. Johnston). Ownership inscription at base of title page "Ross 1921." This squares, albeit a year in advance, with the publication date for this edition in the British Library catalogue (the only one with the words "(Pocket Edition)" as part of the title). Covers somewhat rubbed, one-inch break along exterior back hinge running across spine where it ends repaired, near very good copy. Complete with all color plates of tartans. Very entertaining advertisements at front and rear for kilts, clothing, shoes and all things Scottish. A pretty and fun little volume.
