Very Good (covers nice, contents clean & tight); several moderate tears & chips d/j. 8vo., black cloth in dust jacket; 282 pages First Edition. Signed presentation from Battersby on the front endpaper: "To Marlene, Upon whose friendship I have never depended in vain. Accept this as a small token of a large gratitude. Jim." The book was purchased from a seller in the California area where Longenecker died, so presumably from her estate.
