Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. 8vo, pp. xii, Prime Minister's Personal Minute, 337, unclipped dust jacket with tears, especially top left corner and top of spine, rubbed and minor losses to base of spine, interior with owner's signature to ffep, otherwise crisp and clean, a few minor foxing marks to fore edge, small amount of pencil underlining and a paper clip stain on three pages, binding tight. The signature is that of Margaret Warren, herself an aviatrix whose 1912 pilot's license was signed by Orville Wright. The underlining is in the section dealing with Jacqueline Cochran and her recruitment of American pilots for the ATA, ladies presumably known to Mrs Warren. Scarce first edition.
