Hardback. Condition: USED_VERYGOOD. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First British Edition. This is the FIRST BRITISH EDITION! States "First Published by Herbert Jenkins". Red book with black lettering on the spine. This book would rate Near Fine, but the corner of the front endpaper has been clipped. Tight, sharp, crisp, clean, no tears, no writing; appears unread. 2nd to last line of page 196 contains "never". The colorful blue dust jacket features an amusing golf scene and is lightly rubbed. Small chips/tears to edges. 1/2" hole on dj on front back creases. Back of dj is white and shows light soiling. Bottom corner of front dj has been clipped (poorly); a bit of the scissor cut into the book description. It's all there-but it's been cut. Wodehouse books on the back flap list to "Bring on the Girls". The book looks quite presentable in its protective mylar cover. PLEASE REQUEST A PHOTO to judge for yourself!.
