Book
Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Bryan Collier (illustrator). Second impression. A timely picture book from the author of, amongst many others, another wonderful picture book, "Freedom Soup". It's an inspirational reassurance to black children and although the main message is that Black Lives Matter, it's a call for acceptance of all diversity - that "all children, of all colors, everywhere" MATTER. In a true picture book partnership, the powerful illustrations by multi-award winning artist, Bryan Collier are as important as the lyrical text. He uses a flower petal motif throughout which he explains in a note at the end of the book. This is a fine copy of the second printing in a near fine dust jacket, just very slightly curled on top edge.
