Two volumes, part 1, 286 pages, and part 2, pages 291 to 567. Both books come with a lovely brown box, slipcase. The books are in fabulous condition, normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. A few thumb marks to edge of papers, from use, both books have a brown coloured top edge to top end of papers. All pages, text and stunning illustrations are in really good, clean, readable order. Printed in the Netherlands by Joh. Enschede en Zonen Haarlem, on Mellotex Smooth High White Paper, the colour illustrations in four colours offset, the black and white illustrations in sheet-fed gravure, th text in letterpress in Monotype Bembo. Photographs by Carroll T. Hartwell, Curator of Photography at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Designed by B. de Does. First published in 1970.
