Dundas was called up early in the Second World War, serving with No. 616 Squadron flying Spitfires. He was shot down on 22 August 1940 and wounded during the Battle of Britain. Jeffrey Quill transferred full-time to Vickers Supermarine in 1938, whereupon he took complete charge of Spitfire test flying. Contains (ix), 180 pp with monochrome archive photographs throughout.
