Translation from the original, published first in 1980, by John Sturrock, who is presumably the author of the Preface, which begins, "Famous he may have become, as an unimaginably skillful and much enjoyed player of literary games, but Georges Perec still wouldn't put himself forward as a writer. The Winter Journey appeared for a first time in 1980, secretly almost, in a publicity bulletin put out by the Paris house of Hachette . . . " and that's all I'm gonna say. Simple two-tone (orange and blue) printed covers. 20 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
