Softcover (Slipcase). Condition: Very Good. Photographic and Illustrations (illustrator). Edition Unstated. from the producer  Richard Mervyn. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs and illustrations. At the beginning of the booklet is a map of England showing the various houses. Included in the slipcase is a six fold poster for the television series "The English House", and other ephemera in relation to programme. Photographic slipcase, same illustration as for underlying book with white and black coloured titles to the front panel. Released in conjunction with the Thames Television programme of the same name, this booklet is a list, alphabetically, of the houses described within the television programme, giving, where they are situated, what style of house they are, opening times and price of admission. As the front panel blurb states "The Thames Television series 'The English House' reveals that England is unique in the profusion and variety of its houses. Other countries may possess greater palaces and chateaux, but only in England. Is there such a wealth of houses of every size and period." Some rubbing it to the book edges and fading to the backstrip. The book has been stored in properly and the panels are somewhat bumpy. Slipcase:  creasing to the corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. Noticeable fading to the backstrip and rear panel. Again incorrect storing has caused bumpiness. Poster:  some signs of creasing where it has been folded. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. 41 pages, Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Photographic and Illustrations. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 500 grams. Category: Film, Radio & Television; Great Houses; Britain/UK; architecture. Inventory No: 0117691.
