It is a photograph the hills and the cactus that grows in the region. You can see the shadows both on the hills and amongst the cactus. The rear end page a "Schematic Map of Southern Arizona Indicating Mountains and Foothills. The map indicates key locations in the right southern corner of Arizona. . Very nice. Light rubbing along the bottom of the b book. The book itself is bound in a beautiful dark green cloth and the lettering and the cactus (on the spine) and that of the bird (on front) are all in bright, green leatherette. paintings by Allan Brooks, George Micksh Sutton, Roger Tory Peterson, Terence Michael Shortt. This is a heavy book and additional postage will be required. 723pp. Index. Well illustrated, includes 18 color plates with glassine interleaves, 8 of them by Roger Troy Peterson.
