The first measures approx. 13 3/ 4in. x 15 in. and consists of 10 bound hand-pulled photogravures and 6 bound color planographs, with a limitation page signed by the following fifteen contributors: Jayne Hinds Bidaut, Flor Garduno, Brigitte Carnochan, Robert Stivers, Don Hong Oai, Toni Catany, Wouter Deruytter, S.J. Staniski, Carol Munder, Ariane Lopez-Huici, Dimitris Yeros, Greg Gorman, Jerry Spagnoli, Christopher Bucklow, and Philip Trager. The second volume measures approx. 8 ½ in. x 11 ¼ in. and contains 48 black and white and 15 color plates, with essays about the photographs by a number of authors, including Edward Albee, Annie Dillard, and Ann Beattie. Each volume is bound in Japanese silk blend and each is housed in a clam-shell box covered in textured cloth. Volume VI of the series was sold out shortly after publication and thus is very scarce.
