Schon mal irgendwo gesehen Gut möglich, aber sicher nicht so. Vor einiger Zeit trafen sich nämlich Grzegorz Rosinski ('Thorgal', 'Der kleine Schninkel' etc.) und Michel Rodrigue (u. a. 'Percy Pickwick'), und Rosinski scherzte bei der Gelegenheit, er würde demnächst ein Album der Schlümpfe zeichnen. Gut, setzte Rodrigue noch einen drauf, dann mache er eben den nächsten 'Thorgal'. Gesagt, getan - hier ist nun das Resultat.Seine Version heißt allerdings Thorax, und heldenhaftes Gebaren ist diesem 'Sohn der Sterne' eher fremd. Das allein sorgt schon für reichlich Heiterkeit, aber nicht unbedingt für Action. Also hat sich Rodrigue noch ausgiebig bei 'XIII' bedient, einem weiteren von Jean van Hamme getexteten Comic-Klassiker. Und weil ihm auch das nicht genügte, nahm er zudem kurzerhand die fantastische Rittersaga 'Kreuzzug' von Jean Dufaux und Philippe Xavier hinzu. Und da er danach immer noch ein bisschen Platz und offenbar großen Spaß daran hatte, versteckte er rund zwei Dutzend weitere beliebte Comic-Gestalten in seiner aberwitzigen Parodie. Es können aber auch gut einige mehr sein - manche Anspielungen sind gar nicht so schnell zu entdecken, wie sie auftauchen.Der vielseitige Michel Rodrigue, Comic-Autor und -Zeichner sowie Rugbyspieler und Wahl-Schotte, hat mit seiner verrückten Wikingersaga ein pralles Vergnügen für Comic-Kenner geschaffen. Aber nicht bloß 'Thorgal'- oder 'XIII'-Experten kommen hier auf ihre Kosten - die Suche der wilden Nordmänner nach der sogenannten 'Zivilisation' macht einfach nur Spaß! Auf die 'Schlümpfe' von Rosinski dagegen werden wir wohl weiterhin warten müssen.

Das Krankenhaus ist komplett verwaist. Was tun in so einer Situation Natürlich das Nächstliegende - erst mal straflos und ungestört den Süßwarenautomaten plündern. Derweil hat am anderen Ende der Stadt ein obskurer Professor einer üppig gebauten Tussi ein fatales Virus verabreicht und damit unbeabsichtigt die Vernichtung der Menschheit ausgelöst. Gut, das ist sicher nicht schön, aber muss man gleich alles so verbissen sehen Lapuss' (Text) und Ztnarf (Zeichnungen) meinen: Nein. Ihre Zombie-Parodie liefert darum den dringend benötigten humoristischen Kontrapunkt zum Weltuntergang. Wobei eine Ähnlichkeit mit anderen lebenden Toten zwangsläufig ist - die sehen ja sowieso alle gleich aus. Die von Lapuss' & Ztnarf sind jedoch bedeutend lustiger. Ein Comic, der der Redewendung »schreiend komisch« eine völlig neue Bedeutung verleiht.
